The room was clean and bright, and the staff went above and beyond to accommodate my elderly mother, arranging breakfast delivery to her room.

Consider asking for a room on a higher floor for a quieter stay. the view can be quite pleasant as well.

delightful strolls to parks and vibrant markets nearby
During my solo stay, I appreciated the clean, warm atmosphere while easily walking to the charming Altrincham Market in less than a 15-minute stroll and enjoying the peaceful scenery at Denzell Gardens just over 2 km away, making it perfect for a weekend adventure in the city. additionally, the comfortable room and good value made the experience enjoyable, but the manager's insistence on taking a swipe of my card for a different payment method was a bit unnecessary.

Good vibes but needs work
Just spent a night here. The place was warm and comfy, and the staff were super friendly! The bar area was nice for relaxing. The bed springs, tho, kinda felt like they were in a wrestling match all night. the dinner menu was kinda dated, reminded me of school cafeteria food. Just needs a little TLC.

Clean & comfy surprise
I stayed here for a night after my hotel plans fell through, and honestly, I was pleasantly surprised. The room was simple but clean and warm. The English breakfast hit the spot too! The parking bit was a hassle, but the receptionist was super helpful and told me where to park for free nearby.

The twin room was spotless, and I loved the full English breakfast included in the deal! I enjoyed relaxing by the quiet bar and found the cozy atmosphere really inviting. Just a heads-up, the door closed a bit loudly, but it didn't spoil my stay. 😊

Arriving late, the unwelcoming reception was frustrating. the staff seemed rushed and disorganized. The room felt tired, with dated furnishings, marked walls, and an unexpected, inappropriate piece of art.

I loved the clean, comfortable bed! It really made my stay much better. The staff were nice too, but the noisy street outside made sleep tough. it’s good for a short stay, though.

not a good start to your holiday
The hotel was clean, warm, and comfortable. parking is non-existent. We had to park at a Co-op pay and display lot behind. be careful about timing. The room had a private bathroom, TV, and tea/coffee maker. Heating worked well, but overall it felt dated and tired. The breakfast had some good options but not enough staff to keep up with demand.

comfortable stay but could improve amenities
The room was well-maintained and provided a warm atmosphere that made my single night pleasant. The value for money is good as the cleanliness and overall comfort were commendable.
Some amenities may seem lacking compared to higher-end establishments.

I stayed at The Ashley for one night before heading to the airport. The location was superb, plenty of restaurants and bars nearby. The hotel showed its age. it felt quite tired and could use a refresh. My room was small and icy, and I had a view of the dustbins outside. The staff were friendly and eager to help, which I appreciated. parking was tricky to find initially, and I had to pay a bit for my car. I noticed that it wasn't well soundproofed either, as I could hear conversations from the hallway. The hotel had a bar and restaurant, but I chose to explore the surrounding area. While my stay was decent for a single night, I wouldn't mind staying again, mainly for the location and decent price.
